It all started with a dream
The idea for Ye Olde Spud Shoppe came to Michelle one morning in a dream. At first, she imagined a cosy little shop, but after chatting with her son and checking local rents, the vision shifted to a mobile food trailer. While browsing trailers for sale, she spotted the perfect little cottage-style unit on Facebook Marketplace. A quick word with the bank, and the dream was suddenly within reach. From that first spark of inspiration to the trailer arriving at our door took just three whirlwind weeks. It’s been a rollercoaster ever since — but one filled with a whole lot of potatoes!
